:new: It seems my problem has solved itself - she wandered off about half an hour ago, and hasn't come back around yet. I'll keep an eye out for her the next few days, and I've left a bowl of water out for her just in case. If I see her again she can come with me to the vet to see if she is micro-chipped! Thank you for all your advice~

Hey guys,

So a few of you guys know that I am attending university this year, and I'm living with my grandparents to save costs.
Today at lunchtime, I found a cat under our deck. I heard her meowing, and when I went outside to look she came running out. Very friendly. A know she's a girl, as she's a beautiful dark tortoiseshell.

Bubba by LiddleCherry This is her.

She's lovely, in ok condition, but hungry and thirsty. Super friendly, when I sat on the chair outside she jumped right up and started "kneading" me, so I'm guessing she's youngish.

My dilemma is, I love cats. I have always had a cat. My grandparents don't really want a cat, but should I call the SPCA? I've left her outside with a bowl of water and shut the door, but she won't leave because she can still see me. I hate this situation, and I don't want to leave her, but Ifeel horible.

She probably is someone's pet who got out. I'd suggest getting her to the SPCA, and make sure that they call you to come get her back if no owners come in before her time's up! She's a pretty little thing.
